The Cornish-Windsor Covered Bridge between Cornish, New Hampshire, and Windsor, Vermont, is scheduled to close on weekdays starting the week of Oct. 19 while crews replace deck planks.

An Oct. 6 update from the town of Cornish, relaying a message from New Hampshire transportation officials, says daily closures are expected through the end of November. The work will take place on weekdays, with the bridge remaining open on weekends.

The town's earlier Oct. 5 notice listed planned closure hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. starting Oct. 19. The later update confirmed the weekday schedule and expected duration.

Message boards are in place on the New Hampshire side. Officials do not plan to post a signed detour, according to the update.
