Connecticut transportation officials will present findings and potential improvements for I-95 in Fairfield and Bridgeport at two October open houses, with public comments due Nov. 4.

The in-person session begins at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 14 in the Black Rock School gymnasium, 545 Brewster St. in Bridgeport. A formal presentation starts at 6 p.m. Residents can review plans and speak with project staff.

A virtual open house follows at noon Oct. 21. Access information is on the project meeting page.

According to the Connecticut Department of Transportation's notice, the study examines safety, traffic operations and travel options across the corridor. Its first phase ended in early 2026; the second runs through 2027. Public feedback will help officials refine and evaluate the concepts.

Comments can be submitted through the project website by Nov. 4. A recording will be posted on the project website after the virtual session.
