The Massachusetts Clean Water Trust approved $80.1 million in new loans and grants at its Oct. 7 meeting, with the largest share going to Gloucester wastewater upgrades.
The financing package includes a $50 million loan at 1.5% interest for Gloucester's Water Pollution Control Facility and a $13.9 million loan at the same rate for Provincetown's collection-system expansion.
Manchester-by-the-Sea received approval for a $13.44 million loan at 2% for PFAS treatment at the Lincoln Street Well. Nantucket's community septic-management program received a $750,000 loan at 2%.
Revere's allocations include $1.75 million in planning loans and a $250,000 sewer-overflow and stormwater grant. Harwich received a $50,000 cybersecurity grant.
The total is $80,141,116, including $300,000 in grants. The rest consists of approved loans.
