Rhode Island's Department of Environmental Management will hold a public hearing in Providence on Nov. 4 on a draft implementation analysis for beverage-container redemption, packaging and recycling.
The hearing notice lists a 1 to 2 p.m. meeting in Room 300 at DEM headquarters, 235 Promenade St. It also provides Microsoft Teams and telephone participation details.
The department says the draft report will be posted on its study page when the public comment period opens Oct. 15. DEM lists the comment deadline as Nov. 16 at 4 p.m.
The hearing will begin with an informational presentation, followed by opportunities to speak or deliver written comments. The notice links to a form for submitting comments separately.
