Vermont municipal planning grant applications are due Dec. 2

Vermont municipalities have until 6 p.m. Dec. 2 to apply for the next round of state Municipal Planning Grants.

The application period opened Oct. 1, according to the Department of Housing and Community Development's program page. Award decisions are expected in December.

The annual program supports local planning and revitalization projects that advance statewide planning goals.

For this round, the grant term runs from Jan. 1, 2027, through Dec. 31, 2028. Grant closeout is due Jan. 31, 2029.
