Connecticut's health insurance marketplace opened enrollment for 2027 coverage on Oct. 23, about a week earlier than the Nov. 1 start used in recent years. Residents can sign up or change plans through Jan. 15, 2027.
The deadline for coverage beginning Jan. 1 is Dec. 15. People enrolling between Dec. 16 and Jan. 15 will have coverage start Feb. 1, according to Access Health CT's enrollment notice.
The dates apply to marketplace health and dental plans.
Access Health CT provides free help by phone, at enrollment events and through appointments with enrollment specialists. Certified brokers can recommend a specific insurance plan; other enrollment helpers can assist with applications and explain the process.
Residents can call 1-855-805-4325 for help. People who are deaf or have trouble hearing can use that number with a relay operator or call TTY 1-855-789-2428.
