Connecticut recorded 438,451 early and returned absentee ballots through Oct. 30, ahead of the final day of in-person early voting on Sunday, Nov. 1.

The state's Oct. 31 release lists 388,342 early votes and 50,109 returned absentee ballots. Officials caution that the figures are unofficial and may change.

Under the secretary of the state's early voting schedule, sites are open Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The secretary of the state's office lists early voting locations on its website.

The Oct. 30 early-voting total included 40,815 votes that day. Across the early voting period, 4,876 voters had used same-day registration, according to the release.

West Hartford led the listed municipalities with 8,558 early votes, followed by Norwalk with 8,036 and Milford with 7,540. The figures are ballot counts, not turnout percentages.
