The Cornish-Windsor Covered Bridge is back open to normal traffic, the town of Cornish announced Oct. 29, after New Hampshire transportation crews completed maintenance earlier than expected.
The town's reopening notice says the New Hampshire Department of Transportation finished the required maintenance earlier than anticipated. The bridge connects Cornish with Windsor, Vermont, across the Connecticut River.
