Massachusetts entrepreneurs can register for two free online workshops on preventing business fraud and obtaining credit, with live Haitian Creole interpretation.

The state treasurer's Small Business Initiative and M&T Bank will hold the sessions from 3 to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 29, and Thursday, Nov. 5. Both will be presented in English with interpretation.

The Oct. 29 workshop will cover fraud risks, including check fraud, unauthorized access to business accounts and fraudulent business emails. Amy Perry, M&T Bank's senior vice president for fraud training and education, will lead it.

The Nov. 5 session will cover access to credit and banking services, with financing tips and resources for business owners. Rob Torres, a bank vice president and senior relationship manager, will present that session.

Participants may sign up for one session or both using the registration link in the treasurer's announcement.
