Newport Restaurant Group plans to open a restaurant at Garden City Center in Cranston, adding a second location at the shopping center.
The new restaurant will occupy 5,000 square feet at 24 Midway Road, across from Kaffeology, according to the property's tenant announcement. Its name and dining concept remain in development.
Garden City identifies the restaurant as the 19th in Newport Restaurant Group's portfolio. The employee-owned company has operated Avvio Ristorante at the center since 2016.
The listing labels the new restaurant as coming soon but gives no opening date, menu or reservation information.
