Florence Griswold Museum's annual Wee Faerie Village in Old Lyme continues through Nov. 8.

This year's Gemstone Station: A Town that Rocks uses precious stones, minerals and metals as its theme. Local artists build miniature installations across the grounds, and visitors receive a map with locations, imagined stories and a hidden-object activity.

The museum is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and closed Mondays. During the village exhibition, admission is $23 for adults, $22 for visitors 62 and older and $21 for students 13 and older. Children 12 and younger enter free.

Visitors presenting a SNAP electronic benefits card from any U.S. state can receive free admission for up to four people. Participating library passes cover two adults at $5 each and two children free during the exhibition.

The museum is at 96 Lyme St. Check the special exhibition rates when planning a visit, since its library-pass terms differ during the village season.
