The Maine Jewish Museum's guided walk through Portland's Jewish history is sold out for Sunday, Nov. 1, according to the museum's event page.
The two-hour tour is scheduled for 2 to 4 p.m. and starts and ends at the museum. The museum's ticket page lists the date as sold out.
The museum also links to its Portland Jewish History Trail, a digital resource with trail routes, a map and site listings. The site lists trail routes, a map and individual sites.
The museum says the guided tour follows the trail and covers stories ranging from immigrant entrepreneurs and baseball moguls to social justice pioneers.
Another museum program is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 2: a free discussion of antisemitism in arts and cultural institutions, led by executive director Dawn LaRochelle. It runs from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in Room 133 of the Wishcamper Center, 34 Bedford St., Portland, and on Zoom. Registration through the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute is required.
