Powerball lists an estimated $835 million jackpot for its Wednesday, Nov. 4, drawing after no ticket won the top prize on Monday. The advertised lump-sum cash option is $357.9 million, before taxes.
The two figures describe different payout choices. The larger advertised prize is the annuity option; the cash value is the estimated amount for a lump-sum payment. They are not two prizes that a single winner receives together.
Monday's winning white balls were 7, 23, 29, 64 and 66, with a red Powerball of 23. The Power Play multiplier was 4x. Powerball's results page lists no jackpot winner and no Match 5 plus Power Play winner for that drawing. It lists a Match 5 million-dollar winner in Delaware.
Powerball drawings take place Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. Eastern. Rhode Island Lottery says the drawings air on WPRI-TV, Channel 12. A basic play costs $2. Sales cutoffs vary by jurisdiction.
The jackpot estimate can change. The amount shown here is Powerball's advertised estimate captured Nov. 3 for the Nov. 4 drawing. The official game page carries the current estimate and results, and tickets must be redeemed in the jurisdiction where they were sold.
