New Hampshire and Dartmouth played to a 0-0 men's soccer draw on Sept. 29 at Wildcat Stadium in Durham, with UNH controlling the shot count but unable to score.

The Wildcats finished with 11 shots to Dartmouth's one and took all five of the game's corner kicks. Three UNH attempts were on target, and Dartmouth goalkeeper TJ Jeffreys saved each of them.

UNH goalkeeper Aaron Choi did not need to make a save. Dartmouth's only shot, by Olly Spicer, came in the first half and was off target. The Big Green did not register an attempt after halftime.

The nonconference result left UNH at 5-3-2 and Dartmouth at 3-3-2. Their league records were unchanged: UNH was 0-1 in America East, while Dartmouth was 1-0 in the Ivy League.

The teams played before a listed crowd of 457. UNH took five shots in the first half and six in the second, but the same score held through both periods.

For Dartmouth, the draw extended an unbeaten stretch to three matches following a 3-1 win over Vermont and a 1-0 victory against Princeton. In its Oct. 1 match preview, Dartmouth reported two consecutive clean sheets and a run of 233 minutes without allowing a goal.

Jeffreys entered the next matchup with a .839 save percentage, ranked 16th nationally and second in the Ivy League, according to Dartmouth. The Big Green had allowed five goals for the season, tied with Princeton for the lowest total among Ivy teams.

Dartmouth next travels to Philadelphia to play Penn at Rhodes Field at 4 p.m. on Oct. 3. The game is scheduled for ESPN+ and will be Dartmouth's second Ivy League match of the season.

Penn tied Yale 1-1 in its league opener and entered the weekend 2-0-1 at home. Dartmouth and Cornell were the only teams to win during the Ivy League's opening week, leaving them tied atop the standings before the next round of conference games.
