Students interested in the University of Rhode Island's online Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies program have until Nov. 24 to apply for the term beginning Jan. 5, 2027.
The degree-completion program is designed for applicants with at least 45 previous college credits. URI described the program and the coming deadline in an Oct. 28 announcement.
Courses run in seven-week sessions, with two sessions per term and offerings in spring, summer and fall.
The interdisciplinary studies major requires 36 credits. Students need 120 credits in total to graduate; completing the major alone does not satisfy the full degree requirement.
Applicants can contact program director Angie Chiang at achiang@uri.edu to discuss how prior credits apply and what degree requirements remain.
