The Yarmouth Seaside Festival runs Oct. 10-12, with daytime activities in South Yarmouth and evening events at two different beaches.

Thefestival's main sitelists free admission at Joshua Sears Memorial Field, at Route 28 and Wood Road. Arts and crafts, food, music and family activities are scheduled from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday's bonfire runs from 6 to 9 p.m. at Bass River Beach, also known as Smuggler's Beach, in South Yarmouth. Sunday's fireworks are scheduled for 8 p.m. at Seagull Beach in West Yarmouth, according to theevent schedule.

Monday's family sand-sculpture event runs from 9 a.m. to noon at Bass River Beach. Its theme is America's 250th anniversary.

The Sunday5K road racebegins at 9 a.m., with registration at 8 a.m. at Cape Cod Collaborative. Race entry costs $30. Festival admission does not cover the race registration.
