Cambridge's five neighborhood ballot drop boxes close at 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 2. After that, the only official box is the main box at 689 Massachusetts Ave., to the left of the front entrance. It stays open until 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3.
The deadlines are listed in the city's election notice.
The satellite locations are City Hall, 795 Massachusetts Ave., near the rear door; Morse School, 40 Granite St.; police headquarters, 125 Sixth St.; Maria L. Baldwin School, 85 Oxford St., at the right side of the Oxford Street entrance; and O'Neill Library, 70 Rindge Ave., beside the entrance stairs.
Before depositing a ballot, voters must seal it inside the yellow jurat envelope and sign the affirmation on that envelope.
The neighborhood boxes will not be open Tuesday.
