Littleton's Gathering of the Jack O'Lanterns will light the Ammonoosuc River waterfront from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, following a day of Halloween activities downtown.
The Littleton Area Chamber of Commerce schedule lists the evening gathering at Riverfront Commons, 77 Riverglen Lane. Plans include illuminated carved pumpkins, food vendors, entertainment and a 7 p.m. bonfire with the fire department.
Daytime events begin with an 11 a.m.-2 p.m. fall festival at Remich Park. Participating Main Street businesses will offer trick-or-treating from 2 to 4 p.m., and Jax Jr Cinemas lists a 4 p.m. screening of Hotel Transylvania.
The evening also includes a Littleton High School haunted walk, priced at $3 for adults and $2 for children.
Portable toilets will be available at Riverfront Commons, according to the chamber.
