New Hampshire's Domestic Violence Fatality Review Committee has issued 11 recommendations after examining two domestic-violence homicides, Attorney General John Formella's office announced Oct. 5.

The first biennial report calls for stronger offender accountability, victim support, coordination among agencies and earlier intervention.

The committee conducts confidential reviews involving professionals from multiple disciplines and plans to track implementation of its recommendations.

In a broader tally, the attorney general's office reported 44 domestic-violence-related deaths statewide from 2022 through 2025: 22 people killed by family members, 20 by intimate partners and two others died in other domestic-violence-related incidents.

The office also said domestic violence was a factor in 57% of New Hampshire homicides from 2009 through 2025. Its announcement links to the full report.
