Roger Williams Park Zoo's Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular continues Oct. 17-18 with an evening trail of carved pumpkins in Providence.
The zoo's event guide lists hours of 6 to 10:30 p.m., with last entry at 10 p.m. This year's Great Pun-Kin Trail theme features about 5,000 carved pumpkins, according to the zoo.
Friday-through-Sunday tickets cost $23 for adults and $19 for children ages 2-12. Children 1 and younger enter free. Timed tickets must be bought online in advance; the zoo says they are nonrefundable and cannot be rescheduled unless the zoo cancels the show. When the zoo cancels, advance ticket holders can seek reimbursement or arrange another evening through Guest Services.
Free on-site parking is available on a first-come basis. Overflow parking and shuttles operate Thursday through Sunday, according to the ticket information. The event runs rain or shine through Nov. 1. Check the ticket calendar for an available entry time before traveling.
