Roger Williams Park Zoo will offer sensory-friendly access to its Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular on Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 20-21, from 5 to 6 p.m.

The special sessions are intended for visitors with autism spectrum disorders or sensory processing differences and their families. Pumpkins on the Wetlands Trail will remain lit, but music and special effects will be turned off during the hour.

Tickets are sold only in person at the admissions booth that evening. Sensory-session admission is $18 for adults and $15 for children ages 2-12; children 1 and younger enter free.

The zoo recommends arriving early because music and light effects begin at 6 p.m., when the regular evening event opens.
