New Hampshire's 10 county conservation districts have opened the 2027 round of their farm climate-resilience grants, with applications due Feb. 1, 2027.

The program's current application page says grants support farm equipment, infrastructure and practices that help farms withstand changing conditions or reduce their contribution to climate change.

The districts are offering virtual office hours at noon Nov. 18, Dec. 9 and Jan. 20, 2027 for farmers to discuss project ideas and draft applications. An information session is scheduled for Dec. 16 from 5 to 6 p.m.; registration links are on the program page.

The 2027 application allows requests from $100 to $10,000. Farms must cover at least 25% of project costs, which can include their time and equipment use. Applicants must identify at least one way to measure the project's results, such as water use, soil health or electricity consumption.

The application instructs farmers to submit to their county conservation district. It prohibits using generative artificial intelligence to write submitted work, while allowing it for proofreading and grammar.
