Drivers on Route 175A in Plymouth should expect lane restrictions during railroad-crossing repairs planned for the week of Oct. 19, the New Hampshire Department of Transportation said.

Crews expect to replace rail seals and pavement over two days, working from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting, according to the department's project update. The notice does not fix the work to two particular dates.

Work is planned on one side of the crossing at a time. When a lane is impassable, traffic will be directed along Green Street. Advance message boards will notify drivers.

The department's District 3 is coordinating the work with its Bureau of Rail and Transit and the railroad operator.

Travelers should allow extra time and check New England 511 for current restrictions before setting out.
