The Providence Athenaeum will hold its Little Pumpkins Halloween Party from 3 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, with a free musical program aimed at children ages 3 to 7.
Registration is required even though the gathering is free and open to the public. Younger siblings are welcome.
Lindsay Meehan of Mary Ann Hall's Music for Children will lead an interactive music program, followed by treats. Costumes are encouraged.
The Athenaeum is at 251 Benefit St. Its calendar also lists a separate sing-along story time from 10:30 to 11 a.m. that Saturday; that morning program is not the Little Pumpkins party.
Families should use the party's registration link to check current space. Questions can be directed to Lindsay Shaw at lshaw@provath.org or 401-421-6970, extension 17.
