Chris Pappas won New Hampshire's U.S. Senate election and Kelly Ayotte won reelection as governor, according to The Associated Press.
AP posted its call for Democrat Pappas at 8:21 p.m. Nov. 3 and its call for Republican Ayotte at 12:42 a.m. Nov. 4. The calls are separate from the official count and certification.
Decision Desk HQ's unofficial Senate tally, updated at 3:12 a.m. Nov. 4, showed Pappas with 328,387 votes and Republican John E. Sununu with 243,230. Constitution Party candidate Edmond Laplante had 10,979.
In its governor tally at 3:51 a.m., Ayotte had 300,370 votes and Democrat Cinde Warmington had 281,070. Libertarian Stephen Villee had 8,890.
The Secretary of State's general-election results page had not linked its statewide governor and U.S. Senate summaries when checked early Nov. 4. The office says its posted tallies reflect clerk returns and can change if clerks submit amendments.
