Connecticut's online educator-certification application system is offline while the Education Department prepares a replacement scheduled to launch Nov. 10.
The department's current notice says the Connecticut Educator Certification System, known as CECS, went completely offline Oct. 29 and is scheduled to return Nov. 10 on the new platform.
The system handles certification applications and related account services. The notice says the replacement will use a new online platform.
