Springfield's Veterans Day parade is scheduled to start at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, from Springfield Technical Community College at 1 Federal Street.
The city's Nov. 3 notice gives a route down State Street to Main Street, ending at City Hall, 36 Court Street. Speakers and a ceremonial wreath laying will follow there.
The city says the procession will include veterans, marching bands, color guards, veterans' organizations and community floats. Veterans, active-duty service members and their families are invited to the ceremony, and residents can watch along the route.
People interested in volunteering can contact Springfield's Veterans Department at 413-787-6141.
